Map of East Africa 2014

We spent seven days in Kampala. A bit too much. But we had a lot of fun rafting on the river Nile. And we spent one day in Entebbe, on the beach next to lake Victoria. We also did some shopping, went to the cinema a few times and read a lot of books. On monday evening we took a cab to Entebbe Airport, where we tried to sleep on the floor for a few hours before our flight to Nairobi left at 5 am. We actually met a friend at the airport who was also going to Gothenburg, a really nice surprise. We spent two hours in Nairobi, flew to Amsterdam, spent five hours there, and then took the final flight to Gothenburg where Jonas’ mother picked us up and drove us the last 130 km home to Jönköping. It took us 32 hours to go from the hotel in Kampala in Jönköping, and it was sure good to be back home again. However, a bit surreal of course. Here’s the map of our adventure!
